Three days at Peat’s Bite is medicine for the body, mind and soul! A beautiful haven to recharge, rejuvenate and escape from the world.

It was heavenly from the moment I arrived. Every detail was taken care of by the exceptionally friendly and warm hearted staff. It wasn’t long until I felt like I was part of the Peat Bite family, feeling so nourished, nurtured and cared for on a personal level throughout my stay.

The grounds are lush, The Retreat backs onto the National Park and is stunning. Peacefully tranquil and so healing to be immersed in nature and so close to Sydney.

Every aspect of the retreat is nourishing – the food is so healthy, delicious and plentiful, Tais brings a refreshing, uplifting energy to each yoga class, the restorative sunset yoga in the afternoon and massage treatments are pure bliss, the rooms are stunning and they back onto the Hawksberry river right at your doorstep.

I left feeling so spoilt and pampered by each and every staff member. Now I’m home it almost seems like a dream. Everyone deserves to spend time at Tais’s yoga retreat. It’s pure bliss!

Thank you Tais and the Waoku Lodge team for your amazing efforts, creative minds and professional skills in hosting this amazing yoga retreat. Waoku Lodge was a perfect place to stay, the meals were so delicious and the food was an abundance of wholesome goodness that always satisfied and nurtured our bodies after a yoga and surf workout.

It was pleasure to experience Tais’s yoga classes, a great smiley instructor with always a positive attitude. The morning and evening classes fits in well as it was a great start to the  day and unwind in the evening. My body and mind feel rejuvenated, relaxed and full of positivity. I love meeting new people and it was pleasure to have stayed and shared meals with such lovely, friendly and like minded people at the retreat.

Overall the yoga retreat was a great experience and it exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to go back to Raglan and do it all over again. 😀

Lin Pin, Auckland, New Zealand.

My husband and I attended the Yoga Retreat in Raglan which was organised by you.

I am writing to say a big “Thank You” to you for the wonderful time you have given us during that 4 days.

Both of us are very impressed with the marvellous efforts you have put in.  It has been blissful right from the very beginning till the last minute.

We were with friendly company throughout and we have sincere and cheerful interaction with every member who attended.  We were fed with healthy and delicious food.

The air in mountain ranges of Raglan is super clean and fresh.  The atmosphere was just right for retreat, away from the noisy city life.

My husband who did not join the Yoga sessions has a blissful rest and he enjoyed very moment of his stay.  Thank you again.

We will cherish this retreat forever with fond memories.  We are looking forwards to your future retreat, if the timing is suitable for us.

Good luck and best wishes.

From Lin

Thankyou Tais for creating a wonderful retreat – it was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. The Raglan location is spectacular and accommodation first class. The meals delicious made even better by the fact that they were made up from the healthy locally sourced product.

The yoga classes catered to all levels and Tais’ hands on approach and warmth and enthusiasm enhanced each session.

For any surfer yogi’s this is the perfect destination with world class waves just a 3-minute walk.  And for non-surfers, there are numerous activities in the local area and plenty of time in between sessions to explore or just have time out on your private deck to take in the beautiful vista. We would highly recommend attending one of Tais’ retreats again!

I have never done yoga before and have always been a little apprehensive about it. I soon put this behind me when I had my first class with Tais, she is so easy to listen to, she took the time to explain what yoga is all about and how it works and insists you go at your own pace and to always listen to your body.

Tais is a very motivating person, and this shows through her students, she has an aura of kindness that shines off her to the point of it being intoxicating at times, she has inspired me to the point of never wishing to attend a yoga class to going twice a day.

Yoga has also helped me within myself and given me a new outlook on health, I’m happy within therefore I’m happy on the outside as well, and I have been told it shows. I thank you Tais for coming into my life and helping me through this time to ease my tension through yoga, you are a wonderful teacher an inspiration to your students.

To all of you reading this and wondering should I, just remember never think you can’t because you can no matter how hard everything seems.

I’ve avoided yoga for many years due to weakened wrists, so as a first-time yoga attendee with Taïs, I was a little nervous! Taïs listened to my concerns and built a routine to fit my needs- her manner really set me at ease. She also focused on my strengths, instead of making me more conscious of my limitations. Her manner is kind and helpful, creating a relaxed, focused environment during classes. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a yoga teacher, and fully intend to continue the work with her. She is delightful

I have attended Yoga with Tais on a weekly basis for the past 5 months via her community outreach classes. I was looking for opportunities to start practicing yoga outside of a gym environment, and Tais’ community hall and yoga in the park sessions provided a prefect platform for me to do so.
Tais provides a warm and welcoming environment for people like me who have just started on their yoga path. Tais has motivated me in lots of different ways and shown me that with continued practice how much difference little moves can make towards mobility. Her personality shines through her teachings, and she has a perfect balance of being kind and understanding while also knowing when I need that little extra push to continually challenge myself.
It is inspiring to practice with someone as vibrant as Tais who has helped me to learn that yoga is about the journey and not just about touching your toes – which I can now do!

I was very impressed with Tais’ skills as a teacher. She made me feel comfortable right away even though I was never good at yoga and she motivated me to be more rigorous to practice it. She also answered all of my questions and followed up on exercises she had taught me to see if I was doing them correctly. I am very happy with my experience and recommend it to all my friends!

Tais’s class is very welcoming and comfortable to a mum to be able to bring a bub in. Although not everyone has a bub in class and we are in different levels of yoga, Tais is able to accommodate our varying needs to help bring some peace to all of our lives.  Something all new mothers are in sore need of!! – Min (new mum of two greatly appreciating the practice).

“I started yoga with Tais at the Reynold Murphy community centre late last year and I was very impressed with her skills as a yoga instructor. She made me feel comfortable right away and really connects with each student individually. She has a calm and inspiring method of teaching that caters to everyone’s level. Doing yoga with Tais is a place where I can go that shows no judgement, to set my intention for the day and truly focus on the breath and the present moment.
I really enjoy waking up and attending class, Tais is an incredible yoga instructor, with her extraordinary teaching and with motivation to practice I have advanced my skills and understanding of yoga. “

My first yoga class with Tais in Oia Santorini, allowed me to get to know Tais personally and discover everything Yoga in a gentle way and at my own pace thanks to your pedagogy a moment of well-being! Breathing! Position of the body, relaxation! This course was my first approach to yoga, and it made me want to participate in other courses in the near future to benefit from a body and a spirit in harmony. This first course was already testifying, but with strength and willingness Tais taught a magical week of yoga, and I am delighted she share her knowledge. A big thank you for this moment!

As a yoga-lover and regular student at Tais’s classes, I cannot express enough how much I admire her teaching methods. Not only does Tais inspire you with her personal skills but she also motivates you to achieve things in your own personal and physical growth that you never thought possible. In each class, she takes the time to set an intention that reminds you to bring your focus back to the important things in your life as well as taking the time throughout each posture to direct and improve your practice. If you are looking to improve your life spiritually, mentally and physically then, Tais Froggatt is the teacher for you!

I really enjoyed Tais’s yoga class at Rushcutter’s Bay! I felt she really catered to all our individual needs, attending to each of us and challenging us all to do our personal best. It is a beautiful location to practise yoga, and she really bought the serenity and peaceful to the class. It was a fun and playful routine with just the right amount of difficulty in the middle and relaxation at the beginning and end of the class. I will definitely come for another practice soon!

Tais brings energy and fun to her classes. Her experience means she can slow down the pace for new beginners or up the pace and moves for those that are an old hand at it. I’m sure she will bring passion and devotion to the new yoga retreat she is planning in NZ. Good Luck Tais. 2016
